hyde park poetry week 140, happy 14th birthday

writing

is a day

which starts hopefully bright

in case is is snowing

we appreciate white color

and pure innocence

we spend our time thinking

of logic, human kindness, and prayers

a day ends with peaceful finish--

the end is near

the process of learning and growing is done

 a break is here

we spend half of the time doing something else

we write in our mind

how a day is spent nicely and

ends fruitfully happy.

poetry form week 94:

 tanka, a sample

<Japanese>

秋の田の かりほの庵の 苫をあらみ 我が衣手は 露にぬれつつ

Aki no ta no/ Kariho no io no/ Toma wo arami/ Waga Koromode wa/ Tsuyu ni nuretsusu

<English>

In the autumn rice field

Sheltering at the temporary harvest-hut

Coarse the rush-mat roof

My sleeves get wet

With the raindrops

a different sample

happy moments in the breakfast table

well cooked whole eggs and hot tea

milk and juice as an addition

the ladybird has forgotten her leafy green climbs

a day street relaxes
